Things are shifting — want to come closer?

Hey Beautiful Wildlings!

Thanks for stepping into this space. Things are shifting a bit…

I don’t take it lightly when someone shares their inbox — especially in a world that’s so noisy, extractive, and obsessed with keeping you constantly doing, proving, or optimizing.

If you’re here, maybe something in you is tired of all that.

Maybe you’ve been circling a question like:“Is there another way to be in relationship with Time, with myself, with what I’m here to do?”

I don’t have all the answers — but I do have space for real questions.

In this slow, presence-led rhythm, I’ll share things that help you return to your own timing.

No fixing. No pressure. Just a steady invitation back to the truth of your own pulse.

If you want to reflect with me, I’d love to hear:What’s your current relationship with Time?Does it feel spacious? Compressed? Mysterious? Something else entirely?

You don’t have to reply — but if you do, I’ll read it with care.

And if you want to step a little closer, I’ve created a private and secure Signal group called The Time Grove — a brave space where we share what’s shifting in our relationship with Time.

It’s quiet, rooted, and real.

You’re welcome to join us here 🌳

Glad you’re here.

Stay wild, love fiercely. Your presence is golden.

Ciao! xo Ixchel

P.S. I’d love to know what drew you here. Even if it’s just a whisper.Hit reply anytime. Or better, share it with everyone and begin the conversation in The Time Grove ⇢

🧵 I’m on TikTok and Bluesky (where I’m sharing my favorite TikToks, musings, and links there too)!

Land Lineage

I was raised and bore children on the traditional, unceded, and stolen lands of the Coast and Central Valley Miwok (colonized as Petaluma, CA) and Nisenan (colonized as Sacramento and Fair Oaks, CA), past, present, and future. I also write, work, and live in the highland forest of the traditional, unceded and stolen lands of the Totonac, Nahua, and Mexicah, past, present, and future, in what is known as Coatepec, Veracruz, Mexico.

P.P.S. I do not live or consent to the colonial impositions regarding the construct of Time. I also practice honoring rhythms of work, play, and rest so that I can serve you with embodied presence and with loving care. This means I may take several days to respond to your requests and questions. (h/t Eva Glamaris)

P.P.S. A mention is not necessarily an endorsement of someone. It’s an acknowledgment, a citation, of the origin of information in my process of understanding. (h/t Kelly Diels)

They support leaders to clarify responsibility, strengthen embodied authority, and express from aligned presence as their vision expands. Their work is shaped by lived political rupture, migration, chronic illness pacing, and years of guiding high-capacity leaders and creative founders who refuse urgency as a governing force. Ixchel draws from Indigenous ecological timeways, nervous system regulation, cyclical leadership, and relational practice to help founders carry meaningful work without sacrificing themselves to it.
