It rained after a couple of months without anything. The plants are happy for the drink. Feeling grateful for them.
Yesterday during a Mayan Kotzij’ (a ceremony I was attending virtually), an emerald spiny lizard and an unidentified black lizard (possibly the female of the species) dropped from my skylight into my living room. I found them under the sofa and guided them out the front door. The photo above was of the male emerald lizard hiding by a ceramic pot on our steps.
I feel so blessed… I have mini rainbow dragons living it up in my roof! 🌈🐉
My nausea has returned after eating out on Friday. I seem to very sensitive to anything fresh here (probably due to the water contamination).
There was a purslane garnish on my asparagus and black garlic dish that I thought looked wilted, but maybe not. And last week I tried to have a fresh green smoothie at home, but that did not work out well either, even with soaking them in biopure.
The water situation here in San Cristóbal de las Casas is quite a problem. I hear about people getting sick frequently. A local friend in politics explained that there is plenty of water, but it’s not treated properly. And due to political corruption and a lack of altruistic leadership, that’s not likely to change.
Having worked to build one of the most ecological water treatment facilities in the United States while Pluto was transiting my natal Moon on the Midheaven in Capricorn (the building literally has my colleagues and my name on it) in my former town of Petaluma, California, I very much want to roll up my sleeves and lend a hand on this issue.
Plugging into the community in this way will take a delicate hand since I’m very much an outsider. But if my experience is useful, everyone would benefit from clean water.
This Pluto Sun cazimi has been very interesting. I’ve read many people reflecting on it. With my Moon and Venus in Capricorn, I have wondered how the Millennials born with the Capricorn stellium (Uranus, Saturn, and Neptune) were transformed by Pluto’s 15-year journey through Capricorn.

Why is this important? This isn’t just an astronomical occurrence; it’s a pivotal moment that echoes through our lives. Understanding these celestial movements helps us navigate our personal journeys with greater awareness and intention. In these times, when the world is rapidly changing, grasping the astrological influences becomes crucial. It’s not about predicting the future, but about understanding the deep archetypal and transformative processes we are all undergoing.
I see much in the way of how Millennials, as workers and managers, are changing the future of work just through being themselves.
My oldest is a Millennial Reflector (a rare lunar being with Human Design aura type of no defined centers named after the Moon’s reflection). When a Reflector shares their reflections you know it’s going to be good. She has the Capricorn stellium plus Moon. Both my Millennial kids do.
Yesterday she reflected on how much astrology and astronomy are helping her “understand the vastness of our universe and the passage of time.” How it takes 248 Earth years to circle the Sun. For Pluto that’s just one year. This Pluto leaving Capricorn was having her “feel some type of way” because it won’t happen again for another 250 years.
Why now? As Pluto leaves Capricorn, a sign it won’t visit again for another 250 years, we’re at a unique crossroads. This moment is pivotal for introspection and understanding the long-term impact of astrological cycles on our lives. In this era of rapid change and uncertainty, turning to the stars and planets provides not just comfort, but an archetypal framework to make sense of the world around us. Now, more than ever, is the time to delve into these cosmic insights.
The vastness of our cosmos can feel like a pretty overwhelming thing to contemplate and experience, especially when the transformative qualities of Pluto combined with the way we experience time from Capricorn come face to face with late-stage capitalism.
Having three to seven celestial bodies in Capricorn in your natal chart, depending on when you were born in the late 80s to early 90s, is a lot of Pluto transformation to have been through in the last 15 years. Enough to give the Millennials a lot of feels these days.
Why does one need this? For Millennials, especially those with the Capricorn stellium, this period marks a significant phase in their life’s journey. Understanding these astrological influences is key to unlocking personal growth and navigating life’s challenges. Astrology and Human Design offer not just explanations, but guidance.
