Hola Beloved Wildling friend!!!
Over the past past month or so my nervous system has been going through some deep neurogenesis. Emotions have become richer and more nuanced.
My focus has brought forth some of my best insights yet (see Anne-Marie’s reflection on Stellar Synergy below).
My heart feels more open. My capacity for the enshittification (h/t Cory Doctorow) and the joy of life has increased.
I remembered to return to my purely creative endeavors like beading from watching Transatlantic on Netflix as these brilliant minds continued to bring forth their creativity into the world while fleeing from the fascism and Nazis.
This dwelling in my creative force has guided me to make some visual changes that reflect the greater clarity I have for my work in the world, as well as to create and evolve my offers. I finally feel like the last three images for my 15-grid on IG are complete.
Reaffirming the necessity of re-enchantment with the world, I’ve added a unicorn dragon to my Wild Presence imagery. In the coming days as I invite you to join me in Wild Presence Collective I will be sharing more about how we deepen our relationship (decolonize) with the world around us through enchantment.

My re-enchantment with the world has always happened in Spiral Time.
It ebbs and flows.
Some days I can hold everything all at once. And others I can only brace my nervous system for the inevitable horror while still doing my best to hunt for the awe.
Last week I was supposed to reset my dopamine with a vacation. I set it in my calendar months ago.
My Hedonic Calendaring (h/t Jamie Wheal) usually involves travel, even somewhere relatively close. I have Eagle twice in my Mayan Tree of life chart (use Google translate and add your birthday to get your Ch’umil). So I like getting a bird’s eye view to experience awe and wonder.
On Friday I realized I had forgot to set reminders to take a vacation in the weeks leading up to my week off. 🤬🤦🏻♀️😳

Blissed out me in Tikal in 2018
Before my spinal injury, my hedonism would include mountaineering, tree climbing, zip-lining, or visiting ancient places like Tikal.
Tikal — one of my ancestral dwellings — calls me so hard, I dream of offering a retreat there. I’ve already found the best accommodations and guides, I just need people to raise their hands… (hit reply)
Mexico continues to stand up to the US bullies of trade with its refusal to import excessive amounts of GMO corn. Every time I hear stories of travelers that find their digestion improves when eating their way through MesoAmerica, I know it’s because Mexico’s people are trying to preserve the ancestry of corn because that is where we come from, what we are made from.
More on why Americans must travel abroad from Diepiriye Kuku.
So, when I realized I missed my shot at hedonism last week I was grateful to be reminded by Maria Popova of The Marginalian and find a new book to inspire awe, enchantment and wonder.
In Dragon Letter’s #5 I wrote about The Extended Mind book. Popova links to a later article she wrote about “soft fascination” (what I call Dreaming in the Wild) in the link at the bottom of this article about awe above.
Instead of traveling to the Amazon (or anywhere else lol), over the weekend I discovered this delightful series that wove Indigenous stories of magical entities into a drama about protecting the rainforest in Invisible City on Netflix. (You can watch with subtitles or dubbed English).
This neurogenesis has shown up in my new logo (above). A Paul Stamets video about how we come from mycelium reinforced this theme and floored me.
Hopedopey2.0 was talking about synchronicities recently. I just love her meandering stories. Are you keeping yourself open to synchronicities?
When was the last time you felt awe?
Stay wild, love fiercely. Your presence is golden.

🌟 Wild Presence is Enrolling, Apply Today 🌟
Stellar Synergy [a core teaching in Wild Presence] with Ixchel is mind-blowing. In it, they share their synthesis of Flow activators, neurochemicals, and the energy of the luminaries (planets, Sun and moon) and help us see ways to apply that knowledge to our creativity, Flow cycles, and body of work, honing our awareness of where colonial time derails us and helping us protect Flow Time (hint: daily composting helps!). Just brilliant.
The course connected so many dots for me. Ixchel’s resources are vast and they share generously. The music they gathered for the luminaries is WOW. The astro apps and archetypes, and the vast wisdom from lived experience and practice, are so helpful.
A tangible and immediate result for me is that this is the first time in years of classes and readings with both western and vedic astrologers that I’ve been inspired to actually meet my astrology chart. To print it, look at it, learn it, and hear what it has to say to me. In that way, I learned that a key piece of my work – the wild feminine – is right there in my chart! And the learnings continue.
While before, I was waiting and hoping that someone else would tell me what my chart says (and by extension who I am), this course with Ixchel opened my capacity for a direct relationship with the luminaries. I’m so excited now to be learning my chart for the first time and reflecting on how it’s played out in my life. Of course guidance helps – what’s a yod? – but Ixchel’s wealth of wisdom, intuition, and guidance in this course opened the door for me to apply myself to understanding it without an intermediary.
That personal relationship is HUGE. I’m going slow and letting slowness be okay. I feel a friendliness with Time and the luminaries. Just as years ago I expanded my capacity for a relationship with nature and the Earth, now I’m feeling the expansion of a relationship with the luminaries, too. I’ve always loved starlight, moonlight, and water. Now I can FEEL them in my life. How could we be lonely, with so many friends? Such a beautiful course, and it’s still working me. Thank you, Ixchel!

Your Sanctuary to Cultivate Wild Presence for Thriving with a Planet in Transition
I was raised and bore children on the traditional, unceded, and stolen lands of the Coast and Central Valley Miwok (colonized as Petaluma, CA) and Nisenan (colonized as Sacramento and Fair Oaks, CA), past, present, and future. I also write, work, and live in the highland forest of the traditional, unceded and stolen lands of the Totonac, Nahua, and Mexicah, past, present, and future, in what is known as Coatepec, Veracruz, Mexico.
P.P.S. I do not live or consent to the colonial impositions regarding the construct of Time. I also practice honoring rhythms of work, play, and rest so that I can serve you with embodied presence and with loving care. This means I may take several days to respond to your requests and questions. (h/t Eva Glamaris)
