My lightbulb moment this morning while reading Joe Dispenza’s Becoming Supernatural (thank you @bluechipminds Georgia Ellis for the ???? recommendation).
.
We get caught in emotional loops that sometimes make no sense. Patterns of behaviors that I’ve outgrown, but can’t shake. Seeing it from an addict’s mind is very eye-opening.
.
Having worked through and dropped other addictions (sugar, alcohol – sugar in another form – shopping, dieting, etc, etc), seeing that some of these stuck places may actually be addiction loops is very enlightening because I have tools for hitting addictions straight on (and it ain’t willpower — that shit don’t work).
.
One loop in particular for me has been the money chase. (Thank you Kyle Cease @evolvingoutloud for this concept, can’t wait to read the new book!) Working to get by, trying to reinvent myself, feeling unworthy not enough, not certified enough, educated enough, feeling worthy some days but feeling my calling unworthy of compensation (healers aren’t supposed to be paid — BS), feeling I should be compensated, but feeling creative expression isn’t valued. And on and on and on…
.
Cold turkey comes in gripping that shit in my meditation practice (I meditate for 1-2 hours a day, and, yes I’m very grateful for this time to heal). I’ve been sober for 20 minutes. Aiming for 30 minutes tomorrow.

The weekend was focused on identifying my goals with soul after sitting with my new core desired feelings the past week.
.
New CDFs feel like starting a tango with a new partner. They land and it feels new and strong. Then you start moving across the dance floor together, getting a sense of where there is uniqueness and where there is familiarity in the moves.
.
What I love in this is staying connected to the feelings to allow those to guide the intuition on the next step, shimmy or dip.
.
So much was accomplished in the last year, I found looking back through my Desire Map planner. Goals achieved and transformed from the direction I thought they would go.
.
This new year I’m leaving more room in my goals for Grace and Ease in letting the path unfold. Less attachment to outcome. More faith that I would be guided (that was one of my CDFs after all).
.

As an empath that embodies memory in my surroundings, I see how I needed to move away from places that caused pain when I was younger.
.
In the same way that couples can share neural pathways, and so when one dies the other loses memories, I realized my connection with my surroundings is so deep that when I visit places of old the memories return.
.
When I owned a car I enjoyed taking a long drive, going for hikes to clear my head. Having spent most of my time at home over the last six months, the moments away were incredibly insightful.
.
Having that freedom to get in and drive is something I really miss — as well as feeling safe enough to walk alone as women. That luxury flew a few months ago as women are regularly mugged and groped on lonely roads. Many walk together.
.
Whether we would find a similar quality of life elsewhere is uncertain. I don’t think I would trade greater personal freedom for a decline in environment. The land here, the wildlife, the access to good, clean food, are excellent. But maybe I haven’t traveled enough.
.
The travel to nearby countries, visits to see peeps back in the US does help the stir crazy feelings. I guess that’s the blessing of a 90-day visa.
.
Definitely need to complete my Desire Map circumambulating this weekend with the last workbook on Goals with Soul to really get clear on what my promises to myself will be in 2019.
.

This beautiful face emerged out mud and root, familiar. Her eyes open and pierce into me. Oh! I am looking back at myself. I bolted upright in bed, laughing.

Have you ever practiced lucid dreaming? As a child I would dream my day before I awoke. It was a survival mechanism that gave me confidence that I was safe. Later I turned it into a lucid practice, traveling the Astral plane, a wandering explorer flying through the universe.
.
I am so grateful to the many artists able to share what they see in visual representation. Having the experience of synesthesia through art can really help one have a unitive transformation. When I see art that shows others what rainbow Light we hold, I am elated.
.
Being one with universe, embedded in Pachamama has profoundly shaped my devotion. My inner exploration, the sartorial and kensho renewals are my gift to the Great Mother, to help empower and heal this precious planet.
.
This gift is my practice to help others prepare or process their sacred plant medicine experience, providing a safe space for you to be reborn and renewed. If you are called to this medicine, please understand that it requires reverence and preparation to have the most transformative effect.

If you feel incomplete from having worked with the medicine, it may help to receive healing. The transformation may be held up.

This morning the bumblebees were out. I love being buzzed by them. Here’s a cute traveler, love the shopping bags of pollen. (I added a filter).

Loved listening to @paulstamets podcast on @timferriss and wanted to give you a reminder to let wood rot in your efforts to #savethebees.
.
Here in Nicaragua there is a bad cycle of burning the jungle floor and wood piles. I’m guessing in addition to removing places for mycelium to grow (medicine for bees), it kills mycelium networks in the soil. All of this contributes to leaf-cutter ants taking over. A daily struggle. I want to try the recommendation from Paul of a specific mycelium.

A few years ago, I found my bees digging in to mycelium networks under the wood chips after hearing Paul speak to our beekeeper association. It was an amazing sight to see.

Grab my seasonal bee-friendly planting book to support your neighborhood bees (link in bio). When you plant be sure to add mycelium (mycorrhizae powder) and wood chips as mulch cover to protect disturbed soil. ????????
