So, The Beetles were literally knocking at the door tonight. They fly! The middle bug is a huge 3 inch moth that looks like bark. And the the left bug is most unusual. It has very long translucent wings. There must have 50 tinier moths all over the door and wall. That’s what happens when you forget to turn off the outside light. #permaculture #bugs #moth #beetles #nicaragua #slowlife

This little girl got lost. Or she came to find me. ????I found her crawling on our kitchen floor after a big wind gust. Our roof has some gaps at the seams. Poor thing. I got hooked on gallopinto (guy-o-peent-o, Nicaraguan rice and beans) when we visited in December. Now I make it for desyuno tipico (typical breakfast).
