In the recent Decolonizing Time + Rest Revolt workshop, I led a guided ancestors group meditation. With the Cancer Full Moon, it feels good to share this deep Time meditation that was given to me by my ancestors a few months back.

We Are The Culture Makers
I wanted to share a deeply supportive program I’ve been participating in the last two years. I reference the foundational teachings from Kelly Diels in my work regularly. It’s a collective that has helped me have a sense of belonging through the pandemic. A place where I’ve met new friends that share a common language and experience.
We are the Culture Makers: A Year of Radical Encouragement + Personal Power Building from Kelly Diels, Trevia Woods, and Ntathu Allen. “This is Self-Development + Power-Building Through A Feminist Lens. Our feminism is about inclusion + justice and dismantling all forms of oppression (no white feminism, thankyouverymuch).”

Glen Coulthard on Land Relationship
In studying the book I recommended a while back, Decolonizing Prehistory, I saw this book, Red Skin, White Masks by Glen Coulthard, referenced several times. I discovered this wonderful and paradigm-shifting conversation about Indigenous sovereignty and relationship with the land.
As someone with Pluto square Sun/Moon, and as we go through this brief transit of Sun conjunct Pluto opposite full Moon, you might explore Power dynamics in regards to land relationships.

I was raised and bore children on the traditional, unceded, and stolen lands of the Coast and Central Valley Miwok (colonized as Petaluma, CA) and Nisenan (colonized as Sacramento and Fair Oaks, CA), past, present, and future. I also write, work, and live in the highland forest of the traditional, unceded and stolen lands of the Totonac, Nahua, and Mexicah, past, present, and future, in what is known as Coatepec, Veracruz, Mexico.
