Ease is the magic word. The vibe I get from everybody doing The Desire Map goes like this:

“So I don’t have to zealously chase goals?” No, you don’t. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“I don’t have to be overly determined?” No, you don’t. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“This is really my existence? Just about me feeling good?” Yes, it is. Huge relief.

Fierce but flexible—it’s completely paradoxical. You have to be completely, devotedly focused and committed to your goals and to your intentions and things you’re going after, and THEN: you need to let go of how it works out and if it’s even going to work out.

Goals rooted in your CDFs (core desired feelings) don’t always take the form you want them to, but you end up where you want, which is the preferred state. Feeling the way you want to feel is the whole point.
