Last year when we visited Nicaragua, I would ask for avocado on my dishes at restaurants and there was never any. Eventually someone explained they weren’t in season.
Tragic, really, that even the avocado has a season in the tropics. To cycle my good fats, I’m preparing to go back to coconut oil in my daily #alkagizer and looking for other good fats to substitute. Any ideas?
