Caption: Firefly! I named it Mal, he got separated from his Browncoats. When we first came to Nicaragua, I kept seeing flashing lights outside. I’d never seen a glow bug or firefly in California. It’s been so fun. But now they keep finding there way inside. Here’s a closeup of its LED-like underside and its Browncoat. #permaculture #bugsofinstagram #firefly #bug #lightningbug #glowbug #nicaragua #nicalife #slowlife

Ixchel Lunar
Deep Time Midwife
Ixchel Lunar is a somatic leadership mentor guiding creative founders through leadership recalibration grounded in decolonial and relational time.
They support leaders to clarify responsibility, strengthen embodied authority, and express from aligned presence as their vision expands.
Their work is shaped by lived political rupture, migration, chronic illness pacing, and years of guiding high-capacity leaders and creative founders who refuse urgency as a governing force.
Ixchel draws from Indigenous ecological timeways, nervous system regulation, cyclical leadership, and relational practice to help founders carry meaningful work without sacrificing themselves to it.
