As I’ve gotten great feedback on hosting retreats, I learned that many retreat facilitators offer two dates to open possibilities for attendees. Several folks wanted to participate, but June wasn’t possible.
In response, I’ve added a second date: September 4-9, 2024. For a limited time, a 4-Pay Plan is available for September. A $500 deposit secures your spot.
The September Retreat is one day shorter. We’ve removed the optional excursion day, giving attendees the ability to add additional days to their trip for adventuring on their own before or after the retreat.

Chiapas Highland Flow Writing Retreat, June 9-15.
This retreat is a confluence of minds and hearts, a place where revolutionary leaders, culture-makers, and visionaries gather to explore, create, and collaborate. 🌱📚
Why now? Because our global narrative is at a pivotal crossroads. Betwixt and between there lies a potent space for us to weave new stories and co-create a tapestry that values creativity, liberation, and the collective.
During the June retreat, join us for El Arcotete, The Bow, a natural rock formation above a spectacular river canyon outside of San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico. We’re excited to take folks here as one of our stops on our excursion day.
Just seven minutes from the Retreat Center, you could also taxi there during the Retreat week to sit in the forest and write.
Cabanas, trails, zip lines, stunning pine forests, and many songbirds await you.
This retreat is a portal to step out of time for those who dare to dream boldly and for those committed to crafting a future where creativity, justice, and the collective flourish. 🌐🌱

I was raised and bore children on the traditional, unceded, and stolen lands of the Coast and Central Valley Miwok (colonized as Petaluma, CA) and Nisenan (colonized as Sacramento and Fair Oaks, CA), past, present, and future. I also write, work, and live in the highland forest of the traditional, unceded and stolen lands of the Totonac, Nahua, and Mexicah, past, present, and future, in what is known as Coatepec, Veracruz, Mexico.
