Hola Creative Wildlings!
I’m preparing to share more from my May writing retreat to Lake Arrowhead and the Frida Kahlo Museum in Mexico City. I have soooo many photos I’ll share in Dragon 🐉 Letters later this week.
A note on consent and opting out of offers: this is the Founders Week for Time Weavers Creative Rituals subscription, so you’ll be hearing from me a bit more. I don’t have a way to put you in quiet mode in Substack. So, if my new offer isn’t resonating, feel free to skip my emails this week and look for the Dragon 🐉 emoji in the preview text later this week to pick back up with Dragon 🐉 Letters.
But hopefully, you’re curious enough to learn how Time Weavers knits all of my offerings together…
“We are the music makers, And we are the dreamers of dreams,”
— Willy Wonka (as written by Arthur O’Shaughnessy)
Creative Wildlings, we stand on the threshold of an era calling for radical creativity. The time for dreaming within the limits of the established order is over.
It is now, in this fertile ground of chaos and possibility, that we must weave new worlds from the threads of our wildest imaginations.
Welcome to Time Weavers, a sanctuary for the somatic, mycelial, fugitive, and Nepantla — spaces of in-betweenness and radical potential.
Why does Time Weavers matter? Because the movement to create a POST-Hegemonic Culture is not just a dream but a necessity.
We are liberating ourselves from the cis + heteronormative, imperialist, yt delusionist, capitalist patriarchy that has confined our bodies, minds, and spirits. (h/t Bell Hooks + Laverne Cox)
We reject the false promises of the dominant culture. Instead, we embrace the outlawed desires of creatives like Frida Kahlo, the barely perceptible imaginations of glorious makers, and the alien gestures of the neuroemergent that defy the normative and embrace the dissident.
Why now? Because the world is burning, and from these flames, we can weave something new. Monkeys fall from trees, birds succumb to heatstroke, and our very protests will be pushed into the cover of darkness.
The urgency of our time demands that we dream wildly and create boldly. Time Weavers offers a space to cultivate these dreams, to root ourselves in the unseen networks of mycelial connections, and to navigate the liminal spaces where true creativity thrives.
This week, join as a Founder to access our entire library of past content going forward and lock in the founding rate of only $11 or $33 a month. Enjoy daily creativity prompts and radical insights.
This opportunity is only available to founders — those nerve-cited enough to step into the unknown with us.
Join us in this journey of decolonial, transgressive creativity.
If you’re not sure if you need this or what it will be like, look for the free trial popup or down towards the bottom of the page. I’m giving a foundational week of daily practices and prompts: Mycelium and Soil, Rooting into this Work.
Let’s weave together the threads of a future that honors our diverse, interconnected existence and challenges the hegemony that seeks to silence us. The world needs your wild, rebellious spirit.
Will you answer the call? https://timeweaverscollective.com/
Stay wild, love fiercely. Your presence is golden.
With wild and rebellious love,
xo Ixchel

Your Sanctuary to Cultivate Wild Presence for Thriving with a Planet in Transition
I was raised and bore children on the traditional, unceded, and stolen lands of the Coast and Central Valley Miwok (colonized as Petaluma, CA) and Nisenan (colonized as Sacramento and Fair Oaks, CA), past, present, and future. I also write, work, and live in the highland forest of the traditional, unceded and stolen lands of the Totonac, Nahua, and Mexicah, past, present, and future, in what is known as Coatepec, Veracruz, Mexico.
P.P.S. I do not live or consent to the colonial impositions regarding the construct of Time. I also practice honoring rhythms of work, play, and rest so that I can serve you with embodied presence and with loving care. This means I may take several days to respond to your requests and questions. (h/t Eva Glamaris)
