Receive the blessings of what still lives in you
Beautiful Wildlings,
You weren’t meant to carry it all.
But many of us do without even realizing it. We carry the anxiety, the scarcity, the survival urgency. The burdens of our people.
The shoulds.
The silence.
The grief that never had language.
And we think it’s ours.
Here’s what often gets missed:
Ancestral healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken in you.
It’s about repairing what was severed, and remembering what still lives.
There are well ones in your lineage who never lost their connection to joy, rhythm, right timing, and creative flow.
That’s your inheritance.
But you have to know how to receive it.
Thought loops that distract us from receiving:
❌ “I’m already carrying so much ancestral pain. I can’t hold more.”
You’re not meant to. In the lineage healing work I guide, the well ones tend to the pain, not you. You don’t fix the line. You open the relationship.
❌ “If I open this door, everything will collapse.”
Sometimes what collapses is the illusion that it was all yours to manage alone.
❌ “My ancestors were the source of the harm, not the healing.”
Some may have caused harm. But others — your well ones — are still here. Holding the thread. Waiting for you to reach back.
❌ “I don’t know who my ancestors are.”
Ancestral relationship begins with consent, presence, and trust. Not paperwork.
❌ “I’ll do ancestral work after I fix my body/life/biz.”
But this healing is the foundation. This is where your nervous system remembers it belongs.
Why a group container for 1:1 healing work?
Because this healing work is reweaving you into a worldwide field of healing energy, tended by human and non-human ancestors and the land.
Ancestral Wayfinding is a 4-week group immersion I’ve created to walk you gently toward your ancestral connection with rhythm.
It’s not required.
But it’s a powerful collective portal.
You’ll learn how to:
-
Reconnect to your ancestors without retraumatizing yourself or bypassing your nervous system
-
Begin ancestral healing without needing to know names, lineages, or family history
-
Deepen your purpose or resistance work without collapsing into burnout or urgency
-
Belong to something bigger without subscribing to religious or spiritual dogma
-
Start ancestral healing work without doing it alone or guessing at the next step
-
Cultivate ritual and reverence without performing or pretending to be a “healed person”
This container prepares you — not just for the work, but for the relationship.
What it prepares you for:
The 1:1 work I offer is called Inheritance because that’s what we’re reclaiming.
Drop the burdens. Inherit your ancestors’ blessings.
Gifts that have lived in your lineage long before rupture.
Gifts that belong to you now, if you’re ready to receive them.
We don’t jump into that work. We arrive.
Ancestral Wayfinding is how we begin that arrival together.
We begin May 7.
Come be held. Come prepare. Come remember what’s always been yours.
Stay wild, love fiercely. Your presence is golden.
Maltiox! xo Ixchel
P.S. Your ancestors aren’t waiting for you to fix everything. They’re waiting to give you what they’ve been holding all along.
P.P.S. Maltiox pronounced mall-tee-ōsh means with gratitude in K’iche Mayan.

Your Sanctuary to Cultivate Wild Presence for Thriving with a Planet in Transition
I was raised and bore children on the traditional, unceded, and stolen lands of the Coast and Central Valley Miwok (colonized as Petaluma, CA) and Nisenan (colonized as Sacramento and Fair Oaks, CA), past, present, and future. I also write, work, and live in the highland forest of the traditional, unceded and stolen lands of the Totonac, Nahua, and Mexicah, past, present, and future, in what is known as Coatepec, Veracruz, Mexico.
P.P.S. I do not live or consent to the colonial impositions regarding the construct of Time. I also practice honoring rhythms of work, play, and rest so that I can serve you with embodied presence and with loving care. This means I may take several days to respond to your requests and questions. (h/t Eva Glamaris)
