There’s a kind of business decision that doesn’t feel strategic. It feels like pulling against your own roots while calling it commitment.
The capacity isn’t there.
The body is already stretched or grieving or overloaded, and the inner pressure keeps insisting that the decision has to happen now.
Delay feels dangerous.
Rest feels like failure.
Slowing down feels like disappearing.
That pattern isn’t ambition. It’s a nervous system protecting survival inside an economic landscape that rewards urgency.
Many of us were trained to move our businesses forward from that state because precarity demanded responsiveness. After all, our income is tied to our bodies, and because we absorbed the idea that endurance equals worth.
This isn’t a personal flaw. It comes from the conditions we live and work inside: capitalism, uncertainty, online exposure, economic instability, historical trauma, and cultural pressure to produce.
For people who are queer, neurodivergent, chronically ill, caregiving, displaced, or rebuilding their lives, the cost of those decisions lands even more directly in the body.
Why This is Mine to Speak About
Across several decades, I have rebuilt my relationship with Time, capacity, and work through lived experience, collapse, reinvention, illness, relocation, grief, and identity transitions.
At the turn of the century, I studied archetypal astrology at CIIS with Rick Tarnas and Stan Grof, and since 2019, I’ve deepened my work in Human Design with Bella Crystal and Jamie L. Palmer, and grounded my thought leadership in decolonial and relational Timeways.
Over time, I had to strip these tools away from prediction narratives and prosperity mythology so they could support something more humane and realistic. In my work, timing and design serve as harm-reduction strategies for decision-making.
The Stellar Timing 2026 Arc comes from that lineage and that practice.
